Geocache Description:

If you're the sort of person that did The Shaft! and liked it, you'll find the steep inclines and great views from this cache to be rather familiar...and enjoyable!  This cache takes you on a trip through a very underused section of this park, so underused in fact that there is only the beginnings of a trail here.  The trail is marked with PINK FLAGS, follow these at all times and you should have little trouble navigating the steep hillsides and cliffs of this cache.  The views from up here are just as spectacular as the shaft, possibly more so as from this side of the reservoir you get to see Castle Craig (hence the name of the cache!).
Be careful while hiking this area, you'll need to watch out for a bit of overgrowth because of the newness of the trail and there are some steep drop offs, the cliffs offer great views but are also a bit dangerous if you have a tendency to fall off of things a lot.

All of the hides are relatively easy, we mainly wanted to get people over here and experience the "Reverse Shaft View"...  perhaps you'll be able to wave to the people on the other side of the cliffs, what if they're doing the shaft?  Yell over to them, your voice will carry!

Parking is at the bottom of the auto road, waypoint provided.  While you're up here, why not try our other cache up here "Bonzai!", it will give you something to do on the way back down the trail.

After finding stage one, continue along the road until you come to the "Notch" located at N41° 33.595 W72° 49.482, look around and you'll see a trail going up onto the hillside, follow that up and you'll find the beginnings of the PINK FLAG trail.

Good luck, we're all counting on you!
