Geocache Description:

Easter Egg Event of 2008

It is time again for some Spring fun!! Come join us and other cachers for an Easter Egg hunt at the Hand Hollow Conservation Area in Lebanon. Find some eggs, find some caches, and find some friends (or make new ones) as you and/or your children look for eggs spread throughout the preserve.

Prizes for found eggs will include candy, toys, geo-items, and other items yet to be determined. Drinks and snacks will be made available. If you want to bring something to share, then please post it so others will know. If you would like to contribute items to be given away, then please contact me.

Bring your friends, bring your children, bring your pets and bring yourselves! It would also be wise to bring the bug repellant and some tweezers as some of us discovered ticks on our clothing at last year’s event! YUCK!!

Last year’s event went pretty well and we had some really nice weather. Let us hope this year’s event follows suit!

Hope to see you there!!

Joyce Carroll, Public Lands Coordinator for the Columbia Land Conservancy, has given us the go-ahead to have this year's event hosted at one of their properties. This lovely property (all 384 acres of it)is characterized by woodlands, meadows, a lake, two ponds, streams, and wetlands. More information can be found here: Hand Hollow Conservation Area

This event will take place from 9am-2pm unless otherwise changed.

New this year!

For some extra stuff for the kids to do, we have decided to bring along some hard boiled eggs for the kids to color. Big kids are welcome to color the eggs as well!!

Not sure what to wear? Try here: Weather Forecast for up to date weather information.
