Whichever direction you approach the cache from you will be required to do some walking on unsealed walking tracks and relatively steep terrain. The cache is only slightly off the path.
When I was younger I used to spend a lot of time walking through the hills. I realise now how lucky I was to have lived so close to such lovely open spaces yet still have the benefits of suburban life. I miss these hills and really enjoyed returning to place the cache.
Somewhere below is the roof of the house in which I spent my late teens and early 20's (on and off).
Keep an eye out for wallabies, kookaburras and other native wild life.
