Come visit Kasson and Mantorville's Sunrise and Sunset trails!
Enjoy about seven miles of paved bike path, taking you from Kasson
to Mantorville and back.
This cache is located along a west-running spur from the Sunset
Trail. Be sure to join the trail at 8th Street or 12th
Street (parking available at 12th).
My permission from the property owner requires that you
don't wander from the pavement until you see your
goal. The cache container is plainly marked with it's
GC-ID GC198KR
The difficulty rating is due to some planning that will be
required to make the find without drawing too much attention. I'm
not really sure if there's a great way to be inconspicuous...you
maybe need some work pants and a button-up work shirt in order to
blend in. A tool bag or a construction vest might come in handy as
props, but the best cover is to wait until a low-traffic time.
Winter isn't the best time to try this one. It will be
accessible, but a little effort may be necessary to get at the
cache and care must be taken to keep the snow and ice out.
