This is a mystery cache. To get the co-ordinates for the cache you need to visit three other caches in this series - Potter's Lane (GC198Q3), Bran Mill View (GC198Q7)and Over and Under (GC198QC). There is also an additional cache on the way, Pond Life (GC198QT)so a total of 5 caches and a largely flat walk of about 4 miles.
The co-ordinates are for a parking spot in the lovely small village of Draycott.
To start your walk follow the sign for Kettles Barn down the driveway. The footpath goes through the farmyard and then along the left hand side of the hedge. As you walk up this path on the RHS is an Oak tree that has been struck not once, but twice by lightening!!
At the top of the path turn left and follow this footpath under the railway bridge until you get to a road. Cross the road and stile. Follow the path arrow to the corner of the hedge, and then walk to the left of the hedge and through a gate. Now cross the bridge on your left and walk up this driveway until you get to a gate on your right. Follow this path diagonally and cross the stream at the bridge. Follow the path up to the road and then turn right along the road.
Follow the road for about 100 yards and then take the path on the left. Follow the path over the railway line at the crossing point.
PLEASE EXERCISE DUE CAUTION WHEN CROSSING THE RAILWAY LINE.
Continue up the path through the wood, and up to the road.
This is not a busy road. Turn right on the road for about half a mile. When the road turns 90 degrees to the right at the top of the hill follow the footpath ahead across the fields until you get to the road. Turn left on the road and then right at the crossroads which takes you back to the parking spot.
