A Multicache in Historic Constable Country.
This is a Multicache; you will have to seek and find 6 pieces of information to calculate the final cache co-ordinates. The clues are located on a 3.5 mile scenic walk in Constable country. Surrounding the village of East Bergholt. Recommended route is a circle walk, park at Flatford Mill - N51 57.720, E001 01 220.
The final cache is at N51 57.ABC, E001 00.DEF
A = Find the entombed sign at N51 57.570, E001 01 187. Deduct 2 from the distance in M, from the left, which you may not fish from.
B = At N51 57.749, E001 00 481: What day in December 1985 was Fen Bridge Opened = B
C = Check the plaque at N51 58.244, E001 01 711: At the site of Constables Childhood Home “1776-X8Y7”, where X+Y = C
D = John Constables Studio is located at N51 58.279, E001 00 647: Add digit 1 and digit 2 (**02) from the year it was purchased to = D
E = The Church has a rare Bell cage at N51 58.210, E001 00 758: Count the bells and deduct 3 = E
F = Near the church door at N51 58.189, E001 00 747, RP was here but when? Add all 4 digits. Divide by 15 = F
When you have all 6 clues solved you have the coordinates for the Cache. Stroll back down the lane from the Village to the cache location; enjoy the views across the Stour Valley towards Dedham.
