Geocache Description:

A pleasant child friendly circular walk.

Holton le Moor is a traditional Lincolnshire estate village. We recommend you park at N 53 27.982 W 000 21.311 (British Grid TF 08193 97867), the layby for the church (but try not to clash with service times!). Head east along the road and at the white five bar gate opposite Woodman's Cottages you will see a sign for a permissive footpath. Follow the footpath (it's a circular walk) picking up the cache along the way. If you have time take a look at the Moot Hall (just around the corner from where you've parked, on the B1434) in particular the side elevation gives a potted history of the village and the fence along the front has some interesting wrought iron work - can you read the statement? The decoration on the side wall of the former school - now a Girl Guide Centre - is also quite intersting to look at.
