Another brick in the wall...
This has a nice first part, where, if you're really lazy, you don't even have to get out the car!
I got this idea while out for a post new-year 'clear the head' walk with Murphy in the nearby Howard Park.(Well worth a visit)
Rugby Park is the home ground of my local team, Kilmarnock Football Club. Founded in 1869, and Scotland's first professional club, Rugby Park was transformed into an 18,000 all-seater stadium and officially 're-opened' in August 1995. To commemorate the new stadium, parts of the perimeter walls were made available, and fans had the opportunity to purchase a commemorative brick, with their name on it, and have it placed on the "KILLIE WALL".
The above co-ordinates will take you to this wall. (See photo)
Now for the cache...
Part 1...
My brother and I, both being lifelong Killie fans, both purchased bricks for Xmas 2000. Look at the attached photo, which shows the original certificate for my brick. (This'll
show my name). My brother, obviously, has the same surname.
Now for the easy bit...
Look for my brick and my brother's brick on the "KILLIE WALL". They are both on the same ROW, with less than 10 bricks between them. There are quite a few bricks, so may take a while ;-)
Part 2...
Once you've located our bricks, you need to gather the following information:
1. My brother's first name.
2. The number of bricks between my brother and me. (This gives you a clue that there are an odd number of bricks between us!)
3. The middle brick between us belongs to another person. Note their name (First and Surname).
Part 3...
Now for the final location.
The micro can be found at:
N55 36 0ab W004 30 0cd
where:
a = The number of letters in my brother's first name.
b = (The number of bricks between us) + 1.
c = (The number of letters in the first name of the middle brick) + 1.
d = (The number of letters in the surname on the middle brick) + 1.
(Car Parking is available nearby)
From the final location, if you look down, you will actually see the cache 'container'...;-)
