Geocache Description:

Joined up with Dr. Usual to drop a few caches in this great little park in North Richland Hills. I have been caching with Dr U for almost a year now and it is always interesting when we go out. He has all these deep author type philosiphies and big words as we hike; I have a dull buzz.

Richfield Park, a 42.5-acre community park, is home to the City's youth baseball and football programs. The athletic area includes baseball and football fields, concession facility and tennis and basketball courts. In another section of the park, attractive groves of native mesquite trees provide shade for the picnic area which features 12 picnic tables with grills.

This is a two-stage multi that got a little tougher than we had originally planned. We knew Stage 1 was going to be a little devious, but the final was going to be fairly straight forward. After we saw the number of muggles around the final, we made it really small and a bit sneaky.

The name of the cache came from my love of lightning. A double strike is often referred to as a "Double Whammy!"
