Geocache Description:


The cache is at the top of the ridge under a power pole.

This cache was originally published as GCR9RJ, placed by T. R. Violin. The cache was confiscated in the Summer of 2007 by U.S. Marines for being on U.S. property. The Marine’s area abuts Mission Trails Region Park and has no signs or markers identifying this area as government owned. The Marines were good sports about the whole thing and, upon request, turned over the eleven caches to me. The original cache owners relinquished control of their respective caches to me, and I decided to re-hide them in the original containers with the original log books wherever possible.
