Geocache Description:

*** As of May 2010, the church property is being shared by the Port Alberni Christian School. Please go for the cache well after regular school hours. ***

This cache is located on church property, with permission. It is a two stage multi, on easy terrain (but not wheelchair accessible).

We been waiting to place a cache on the church property for a while (our team is the pastor's family). Our church suffered the complete destruction of a fire in 2004. After leasing this new location for a year, we purchased this former school and have been renovating ever since! Part of the cache involves the only structure left from the former church property.

BoneyK's Alberni Cache Factory provided the ingredients for us to get it done! We used the magnetic keylock in her cache to make the first stage, and the rest of the cache for the second stage.

The second stage is located very close to the first. You can park in the south church parking lot for both. Muggles frequent the area, especially when the school buses come about 3 pm. Also, Sunday morning may not be the best time to try, but you're always welcome to come on in.
