Walnut Grove Methodist Church
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The Walnut Grove Methodist Church building was built in 1885. The church's preacher was a circuit rider out of Missouri that came through about once per month. In between, the local congregation would have church with individual male members giving the weekly teaching. It is now listed on the National Register Historical Building and is currently being maintained by Highland Valley United Methodist Church on Chenal Parkway.
You are looking for a LA (Lower Arkansas) baby coke bottle with only a log, so please bring your own pen or pencil.
Please hunt for this cache during daylight hours only.
If you come during the early spring, enjoy the daffodills around the church. For years the neighborhood kids have picked them for their moms, so if any are up and flowering pick some for a loved one! Enjoy the hunt. This statement is no longer true as they have dug up the daffodills and planted a flower/bush bed. Really screwed up in my thinking!
Congratulations to berryold on the First-To-Find!!!!
