This is my second cache in Sawmill Park, Butler Township. It is a great place for sled riding/snow boarding in the winter. Nice place to take a hike or take the dog for a walk. There are a lot of trails up here to explore. There are many benches on the trails to take a rest and soak in some nature.
Park is off of Sawmill Run Rd. which is off of Butler Rd./South Duffy Rd. or Meridian Rd. on the other end.
Entrance to park is at N 40° 50.825 W 079° 56.332 on a sharp bend on Sawmill Run Rd. You cross over a small bridge and proceed to the right to a large gravel lot. You can park in front of the fence at N 40° 50.913 W 079° 56.382.
From here you need to walk through the gate on the fence and down the road towards the big hills. Walk between the two large cleared hills and then follow your gps. Find the right trail and cache should be close.
Total trip to cache and back should be under a mile. You are looking for an ammo box.
