geojammers: Five years and one day is how old this cache was and I really hate to see it go! As I have no replacement for the puzzle I have no choice but to archive it. I will get up there to Cito out the left over debris. Thanks for your help skwirlqueen!

Geocache Description:

This puzzle cache IS at the posted coordinates. You will find a large ammo box with the puzzle inside. You must bring two things with you: Your patience and a camera!

I have always liked golf, but I never became obsessed with it like I did Geocaching. Maybe you have had the same experience I have had when telling some people (once in a while they’re even golfers!) about our game/sport. Sometimes they look at you, quite puzzled, and you know they just don’t get it. I have seen that same look when some avid golfers try to explain the allure of their game of golf to non-believers. Completely puzzled!


I would love to see the faces of those same people when you try telling them about how you found a cache while geocaching AND you played golf at the same time. So here are the rules:

1. In order to log this as a find, you MUST tee up.

2. Take a picture of the teed up puzzle and have the Indian Valley Golf Course in the background.
(Hint: Have everything set up and level for the photo BEFORE starting on the puzzle.)

3. Post your photograph with your log.

4. If you do not accomplish all of the above, I’m sorry to say that your log will be deleted. Please don’t forget to put the puzzle back in the bubble wrap for it's protection before you leave.

This may take you anywhere from a few minutes, up to a ½ hour to accomplish. At least I kept the hike short for you. However, I think the view is worth the entire trip. You will find parking at the very end of Center Road. Pass through the gate and follow the the fire road for about 100 yards. You will see a trail on the left that is part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail. You will travel through a few switchbacks before reaching the top of the hill. Please replace the cache so it can not be seen by muggles.
