Geocache Description:

Located on state land, easily accessible by parking on Yellow Barn Rd. Cache is an ammo box, filled with all things purple to start with!

We set up this cache in memory of Deb's friend, colleague, and an overall extremely special person, Bunny, whom we lost recently to pancreatic cancer. Since the color for pancreatic awareness is purple, this cache has a purple theme. Since Bunny loved her two labs, Brandy and Lily, we located this cache off a trail where Deb and our goldens Roxie and Follensby used to walk nearly every day.

September 26 2021 update: Bunny’s Cache had a special visit yesterday by one of her sons, her daughter in law and some of her grandkids. They put a stuffed Eeyore in it that they had saved for over 12 years to have ready when they were able to come and find the cache. They shared that Bunny loved all things Winnie the Pooh, so Eeyore is there now as a memory of that. Will put a note with Eeyore in the cache, but we ask that all who find the cache please leave Eeyore there since he is such a special symbol of their memories of their special mom and grandmom and of our friend. Thank you!
