Jacobs Ferry Falls Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located near where the town of East Riverside once was.
It is at the end of a unmaintained township road that ends in the Monongahela River. This is where the Jacobs Ferry used to cross the river at.
Im giving you 2 sets of parking coordinates. The 1st set is the recommended parking area and the 2nd set is for higher clearance vehicles. I do not recommend driving down this road past the 2nd parking area as the road is unmaintained and severly washed out in areas.
The cache is hidden near railroad tracks. There is no need to go near or cross the tracks to get to this cache. If you want to go over and look at the river please use the tunnel that goes under the tracks.
After finding the cache be sure to walk a short distance upstream to check out the falls. Hope you enjoy.
