Maybury Sanatorium Mystery Cache

The Atkinsons: Sad to archive this cache, but it has been disabled for over a year due to several of the signs that make up the Maybury History Trail being damaged and removed. Rather than holding it as disabled any longer it's appropriate to let this cache go and so the cachetainer was removed this morning. Thanks for all those who visited!

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed within Maybury State Park along the Maybury History Trail. A state park sticker or day pass is required for entry. The cache is along mostly paved (few dirt), wide, and easy trails. Bring a notepad for simple addition, subtraction, multiple, and division of small numbers.

1. Directions to #2.
2-word type of murals created by architect’s wife, Capital Letters only = YZ
Using a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4, etc, Y=?? and Z=?
AB = (2 times Y) minus 1
C = Z
SUBTRACT ABA from the North coordinate and SUBTRACT ABC from the West coordinate to find your way to the second historical waypoint.

2. Directions to #3.
A = (# of panels per window minus # of stone turrets) divided by # of stone peaks as seen atop right turret
B = # of stone turrets
C = # of panels per window divided by # of stone turrets
ADD BCA to the North coordinate and ADD (2 * BCA) +5 to the West coordinate to find your way to the third historical waypoint
