Update 8/10/25:
Thank you to Emilierene and Cache the Coast for letting me adopt this cache in my hometown! The inside bonus cache is still out of commission but the outside cache is currently hiding in the flower beds under a large heavy piece of camo. I'm working to get a replacement indoor cache ready soon. Cache on! -BirkenstockReport
This place is the source of knowledge. The original cache here was encouraged by a previous board member who was an avid cacher. The current Director is happy to welcome cachers here.
At any given time, a person can walk into this 14,500 square foot facility and choose from a range of activities. They can start with a cup of coffee made a barista that used to be homeless and is developing job skills. They can bring a child to story time or to visit Spike the Library Tortoise. They might make their way to the library technology lab where they could use computers, a 3D printer, or a laser cutter. The could attend a public talk, concert, or movie screening. They might spend time looking at art upstairs in the gallery. They could use the fastest public WI-Fi in the region. Or they might want to come relax, read a newspaper, play a board game, or go home with a new book to borrow. Look for the cache outside the building hidden in the garden. When you find the cache during library open hours you have the option to use the hint to find the book “Cache-22” inside the library - an extension of the cache with a surprise.
