Since April of 2006, Ranger Fox has been an amazing
geocaching asset to the Triad of NC. He has reached 5,000 finds in
less than 2 years, has completed several of the most physical
caches around, and has hidden some of the most creative caches in
the Triad region.
This cache is placed as part of the Ranger Fox 5K Series of
caches. The series is a tribute to Ranger Fox and his many
accomplishments.
This particular cache is a 4 stage multi that will take you
across several different types of terrain in a most interesting
area. The entire journey from beginning to end is an approximate 2
mile hike.
While placing the cache I found deer tracks all over the place
and startled a couple of them while hiking. I also found a beaver
dam and an area that they have chewed to pieces. I hope that you
enjoy exploring this area as much as I did.
I suggest parking at the provided parking coordinates and
beginning your journey there. You may think you have a
better/shorter approach to stage 1, but the shortest is not always
the easiest...
