Geocache Description:

500ft above sea level by the side of the road, accessable by car flat easy route. Cache is just off from the road.

This is a Geocache created to mark our trip to the village of Lairg we will be back regularly to check and update the cache site. White with green lid plastic box containing Pad & Pen and Welsh Key Ring.
This area was once the village of Dola of which only small ruins are left after the clearance when the inhabitence were forced from their homes and land hundreds of years ago. From the Loch there are panaramic views looking over the village of Lairg in this panaramic view there are a number of other caches that can be visited.
Old forestry commision sign says no cars beyond but access is ok.
In the spring take car there will be lambs on the road!
