This cache is easiest located by traversing the Brownsville Trail
from the trail head located on Rt. 44.
Now on to THE CHALLENGE:
If you have it in you get two cache's in one day. Be
warned...doing both will take about 6 hours and you'll be traveling
on foot up to 6 miles.
Starting at the Brownsville Trail go to the first cache sight.
Once you've found it simply head off to Ascutney Assault #2 by
continuing up the Brownsville Trail and when it turns into the
Windsor Trail start heading down as #2 is located on/off that
trail. You have the option of heading up to the summit this route
but you can save time and about a mile and just take the trails. At
the bottom of the Windsor Trail take the road for about a mile to
your vehicle. Locate both trail heads first so you know the
directions, Windsor trail located on RT 44A. You can get a map of
the trails from the actual entrance to Ascutney Mountain during
their operating time. Do it if you Dare!!!
