Geocache Description:

This cache is close to the New River in Fleetwood, North Carolina. There is a good place to pull off near the river and you can sit for a while and enjoy the water. Easy access and great for kids.

The New River is the oldest river in the United States and is a great spot to stop and take in the scenery. Great ride down the winding, narrow roads in Fleetwood. In warm weather you may see a few bicyclist and canoeists.

You are seeking a medium-sized plastic container that is not camouflaged. It holds a log and a few toy pieces. This is my first hide and the difficulty level is low.

Feel free to take something with you.
