Geocache Description:

WWFM "Mobbing the Pioneers"

This event is part of the WWFM III - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events.

A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

WHEN: Saturday, May 10th, 2008

TIME: Sharp at 11:00 AM Mountain Daylight time

WHERE: Pioneer Park - Worland WY

Activity List:

STAY AWAY at least 50 yards from ground zero until you get the signal! Pretend and act like a "muggle".

11:00 AM - At exactly 11:00 AM as determined by the GPS clock, (the bells will also toll 11:00) you will get the signal - a bucket will be placed on the ground at the designated coordinates (the bell tower) to signify the start of the event. You may then converge on the bucket for the official event. Log sheets will be handed out. Bring your own writing stick. Sign individual log sheets and drop them in the bucket. To save time you may bring your own log sheet with your name written Then mingle, chat,and all the other things cachers do.

11:06 AM - Assemble for and take group photo.

11:10 AM - Log slips will be pulled for the first to find and door prizes. Clean up and prepare to leave.

11:13 - "Meal" is passed out (Like a Hershey Kiss)
11:14 - One minute warning is called "It is now 11:14".
11:15 AM – IT'S OVER!! The pail will be picked up and everyone must leave “ground zero”. If you missed placing your log sheet in the pail, you missed the event, and will not be allowed to log this event.

If everything goes right we will have several people converging on one spot for a 15 minute geocaching event and then disappearing. This could be lots of fun and maybe even raise a few muggle eyebrows. So come on out and enjoy Worland's first WWFM event!
