Herma Ness is the target for this year's most extreme geocache event! Following on from the success of 2007's event on St Kilda (furthest west you can get in the UK) and 2008's on St Agnes (as south as the UK gets) it was this or Lowerstoft... Count yourselves lucky :)
I'll be leaving a cache here as I've had the OK from the local land owner (thank you David) and the National Nature Reserve folk (thank you Jonathan) and have their support to look after it...
There's a thread about this event on the UK forum
There's another 'extreme' event in Scotland around the same time:
GC1EQ1C Ben Nevis Vertical Limit Extreme Geocache Event plus I'll be climbing Scafell Pike GC1PRQV and Snowdon GC1PRQ0 in 24 hours for a Three Peak Challenge. Join me?
More information to follow so please add this event to your watch list.
