Geocache Description:

High point of our hike today. Lovely spot and great view. Pick a very clear day for the best views and a nice day hike.

I have rated the terrain as 4 because there are some very steep elevations here but they are short sections. We took 2 7 year olds with us and they sped right up on this one. It is about 1.25 miles up the hill and can take you a couple of hours if you lollygag from Santiago Oaks Park. This is where we parked and took the Mountain Goat trail on their map (which you can get when you enter the park). We haven't done it yet, but I think you can get to this very location from Irvine Park. We expect to get up there from Irvine Park shortly on our first check of our cache. We expect to get up there every month. Please take a photo of yourself and of the view on the day you get there of either the mountains or the sea. You can see both from here on a nice day. Good luck and fun caching. This is a small sized ammo can.
