Geocache Description:


Back in the old days, movies were made here in Pioneertown. The scenery is magnificent in the area year round.The old town still is a working town with a post office, church,cantinas a bowling alley,and on occasion there are gun battles in authentic dress on week end days at high noon and the horseback riders ride through town and they bunk out back of the town at Pioneertown Corrals. Pappy and Harriets has the best burgers and steaks cooked outside on the huge wood fire.Please stop by sometime and say hi to the locals and vist the horses. Make sure to bring some carrots or apples for them and they will gladly come to get them. This is a welcome cache consisting of some small swag, for the FTF there is an old railroad spike and your choice of many small trinkets...By the way the mini horse's name is JET and he hangs out by the big round pen...
