A chance to meet the local cachers.
Come along at 2pm (until 4pm or so) and meet active cachers from the area! New members welcome - this event is designed to help you. Get hints on geocaching from the people who place them and even find two or three caches in the area. Guaranteed finds!
Numerous event caches will be in place with prizes on offer for lucky cachers.
BYO Picnic, including your own food, sunscreen, checkered table-cloths, etc, etc. - I'm reasonably sure that the Scenic Reserve is an alcohol-free area, and that's probably best as this is a FAMILY event with children coming too.
For those who don't know the area, the road is not visible on google-maps. Drive through stone gate, cnr Otipua and Church Sts, follow zig zags and turn hard right at the bottom of the hill, over bridge and to the given coordinates.
No wet weather alternative - will go ahead regardless of weather.
