Geocache Description:

A nice walk around Beveridge Park.

Beveridge Park lies to the West of Kirkcaldy, and has many pleasant features including formal gardens, play facilities, sporting facilities and a pond where boating is available. The park dates back to 1892, when Provost Michael Beveridge bequeathed 104 acres of Raith Estate to the people of Kirkcaldy. Facilities include Football, Rugby, Tennis, Bowls, Boating in summer, Putting, Bouncy Castle, Rose and flower gardens, Woodland Walks.

In years gone by I am informed that the park was used as a race track for bikes and cars. health and safety would faint these days!.

On your way round you will see an old disused childrens railway track that I can remember going on when I was a child. Happy days.

The wide path circles the park, so there is no need to leave it if you don't wish to.

The cache is just off both paths (this will make sense when you see the location)

Please do the other micro cache which is not far away
