The waterfall is situated at Clonassey, 2km southwest of Mullinavat on the Piltown/Templeorum road. The site is accessed along a broad grassy path which slopes down from the road. The water of the Poulanassy river pours over a hard gritstone lip into a pool sheltered by trees. An ideal spot for a summer picnic.
