Geocache Description:

Located along the Appalachian Trail. Can park at Iron Mtn. Gap on TN Hwy 107 / NC Hwy 226 near state line. Terrain is fairly gentle. Distance to cache is about 0.5 miles.

Cache is a camo powdered drink container. Proceed Northbound on AT at Iron Mtn Gap for 0.5 miles. You will see on your right a small ridge running perpendicular to, but below, the AT. Turn right & proceed down side ridge for about 50 - 60 paces. Cache should be easy to find. GPS to about 15 ft.accuracy. A nice leg stretcher of about 1 mile round trip along the beautiful Appalachian Trail of ETN/WNC. What a great place to spend a few hours caching. CONGRATULATIONS TO: highstepper & TrailKet - Co-FTF
