Kobi and I did this hike at least once a week for years and she learned to swim here. She passed away July 14, but I will still come here to remember her in her favourite place. Yes it has lots of fast running water in the winter , though none from July to the fall rainy season. Do venture a few meters past the cache to see the pretty creek.
A quick detour in keeping with the 4th annual hide and go event it is about a 4 minute walk from main trail. you can also drive to this junction if you wish.
There were fall wasps here a couple of years ago.. so be careful .
