First stop in a multi cache in and around my home town.
This is a traditional-style cache with the usual log book etc. Contains a FTF reward and two geocoins to send on their merry way. You will be travelling through a diversity of country - rainforest, savannah and regrowth forest. In good weather any vehicle can do this cache - but if it has been wet, the road may be slippery in patches. And as this does go through a rainforest environment, after storms/high winds, trees and branches can, and do, fall and obstruct your passage.
THIS IS CASSOWARY COUNTRY - SO PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY AT ALL TIMES.
The initial coordinates are basically just a rest stop to check your bearings. You may like to carry on to Kuranda for a bite to eat first and then come back. (Hometown plug - forgive me!). Whilst there is no cache to find at these coordinates, the spot is full of information that will help you later on.
