Geocache Description:

The cache will not be found at the posted coordinates, but the information needed for the final coordinates will be.

Well here we are in Harvard, Nebraska, I've called it home forever. The nearby Harvard 802.11 Army Airbase
influenced the town and surrounding area in the 40s. Some businesses are still here but a number of them are gone
forever. Like other small towns with no big employers most residents commute several miles to their employment.
Images of days gone by are shown on this cache page to give an idea of what Harvard looked like in "olden" times.

Harvard Air base Tent City

We are a small town trying to survive but we have luxuries including wired telephones that call almost everywhere,
in fact, your cell phone should work here. We get a daily newspaper from a nearby town to keep up with the news.
For you to complete this mission will require that you use a modern day convenience that some take for granted.
Information needed to find the final coordinates and a important code will be evident if you have done things right.

The First Harvard Public School Building

While you are looking for the first stage of this cache please don't trespass on any private property, this will also
include power poles, gas meters etc. Rumor has it that the owner of the property has a bad disposition at times.
For your information, the cache container is an ammo can placed with permission. That property owner
is friendly and a different owner than at the first location.

Special equipment is needed to find this cache but I won't tell you here what that might be! But this might help:

What you need to complete this cache could cost less than a hundred dollars, but it could also be expensive.
If you do everything right the information will be right in front of you without leaving your vehicle.
Fortunately you might already have what is needed for this cache or know someone who will loan theirs to you.
I have given you hints that will help you a number of times

Please hunt this cache only during day light hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't take the credit for this cache idea, it was borrowed from an ingenious cacher. (Thanks and know who you are)

There is an unactivated Contryguy Geocoin and another surprise for the FTF.
