Geocache Description:


This was set up by CN railroad and the Homewood Rail Committee. It is a static display by the Homewood station. The history of Homewood has been tied to the railroad and its developement. Train buffs should visit the viewing platform on the east side of the tracks a couple of blocks south. You can listen to the engineers on a speaker system and watch as they move the cars around creating trains.
