Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a right-of-way walking trail in the area known as Lost Trail, located in South Hills. Permission has been granted to hide this cache in its location.

Legend has it that in the late 1800's a six-year old boy by the name of Philip Sciple lived with his mother and father in a secluded cabin in these very woods. It is said that Philip had a bad habit of sleep walking, and on one unlucky night his parents were awakened by his screams from the woods. They searched for days, but all that turned up was one of his socks. To this day he was never found, but no one dare enters this forest at night, for several have heard his cries for help. The cache is dedicated to Philip in hopes that the presence of others that visit the cache will give him some peace. The cache is a green ammo box and is actually located in the actual spot where Philip's sock was found many, many years ago. The "first to find prize" is a new autographed book by horror author, Edward A. Holsclaw II. The cache is loaded with stuff. "Again, be careful if you decide to visit at night."
