Geocache Description:

Alongside an Unassumed Road.A lighthearted Series of Caches.

This cache is along an Unassumed Road at the end of Porter Rd. Park on the main road 44 06.181 78 33.439 and not on the unassumed road. The walk is just under 1 km to the cache. It can be driven by those with a bit of a sense of adventure. While searching for the cache, don't assume anything is what it appears to be. You will need your own pencil and a pair of tweezers may be necessary to remove the log so bring them along too. From the parking area, it is about 300m to beginning of the loop which is about 3km around, then back 300m to the parking area. Along the loop is a variety of caches and containers through the beautiful Ganaraska forest. Park on the main road 44 06.181 78 33.439 During the week, we seldom meet others along the trail. On the weekend, the trail may be busy with seasonal cyclists, horseback riders or motorized vehicles. Please take a look at the "Don't Assume" series, many of which are fairly nearby and along the unassumed roads of the area..
