The coordinates for a cache in a redwood grove can vary a great deal. When you see the Colier Spring sign, you are within sight of the cache location, just a short distance away. The hint should take you where you need to go.

Two caches that were placed before this series continue the circumambulation. These two caches do not contain coordinates for the final cache, but you will need to visit them to truly Open the Mountain.

North Side trail rises to Inspiration Overlook. There are steep places in this section of the trail. For a shorter walk to the Overlook (if you are not doing the entire circuit), you can park where Eldridge Grade meets Ridgecrest Drive and follow the fire road from there.
