Old School Traditional Cache

lastvdog: I went by and saw that the cache had been bulldozed. They were tearing down the old School foundation and the trees that were around it in the name of progess so I am having to archive this cache. I will be looking to place another cache soon. In the mean time Keep On Caching....

Geocache Description:

A Camo waterproof match container and log BYOP

This cache is located at the location of an old 3 room schoolhouse. The oak trees around it are some of the oldest in the area and during the last years of the building there was an old fellow living in one of them to the north of the building. He had built a 3 story tree house and lived there a number of years. The schoolhouse was empty and so it became a house in its last days. I lived in it for four years with my family right before it was demolished when they built the Winn Dixie.
