IMPORTANT NOTE -
READ THIS IF YOU INTEND ON FINDING THIS CACHE
This cache can only be accessed by foot or pedal power.
No cars allowed! Unauthorised vehicle access around the park is STRICTLY BANNED and a previous cache in this vicinty was archived due to people driving through the Park to the GZ.
Any evidence of vehicle activity near the cache will see it removed. This is a really delciate environment to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own two feet.
The cache itself is located approximately 1.2km from the main car park (see extra waypoint) as the crow flies, but will obviously be further by walking on the existing paths. If you are on a bike, head due north from the car park to find the boundary track which takes you to the top of Trig Hill, from which you can then progress fairly easily to the cache by heading south.
Take sturdy shoes, water and slip slop slap if it is a hot day.
Try not to step on the lichens if you can!!!They are older than you and take longer to grow.
Enjoy the great views of the Middlebacks to the west and the gulf and Flinders far to the east. To the south are views of Mount Laura and Whyalla.
Cache contains the usual swaps and there is a FTF medal for the cacher who makes the effort to get out an enjoy this great spot.
