Geocache Description:


A remote location that offers an excellent view of Stumpy Lake golf course.
This cache won a Silver Award for Outstanding Scenic Location and a Bronze Award for Best Cache Hike/Paddle during the 3rd Annual Hidey Awards. Thanks to all visitors for showing their appreciation and for casting their vote.


This is a rather long hike for this area. Roundtrip is about 1.5 to 3 miles depending on your parking spot, the water level, and your navigational skills. The cache is a camouflaged decon container that is large enough to hold small items. The cache is rather easy to spot, but difficult to reach. Enjoy the view of Stumpy Lake. An excellent location for birding and pictures.
