Geocache Description:

Solve the mystery to find a hat. Or at least you can find a box that sometimes has a hat in it.

I have always liked a good warm knit winter hat. My grandmother gave me one about 30 years ago, but it eventually got holes in it and needed to be replaced. I was never quite satisfied with the hats I could find in the stores. Then a few years ago tigquilt offered some knit hats as FTF prizes. For example, in On A Mountain.....Far, Far Away, Oak Ridge Black Bear Lookout, and Sandwich Moose Lookout. The first time I met rjb43nh he was wearing one of his several tigquilt hats. I hoped she would hide another one, so I might have a chance to find it. Eventually an opportunity came along and I got up very early one cold winter morning to make the long drive north to find the hat in Nasty Nihilist Numerological Nonsense before sunrise. More recently, and much closer to home, pattheaux hid a hat in FTF Hat, which reminded me how much I like this idea of a custom made hat for an FTF prize.

So here is another knit wool hat for an FTF prize, which of course has to be in a mystery cache. Even after this particular mystery hat is long gone, someday there might be another very similar hat in the cache. If you find such a hat, feel free to take it as a prize.
