Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off the Florida Trail section of the Ocean to Lake Greenway Trail within the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area. Tree cover gave me an accuracy of only 21 ft.


This natural area is one of the rare tracts of land in Palm Beach County that has not been altered by people. This 11,013-acre nataural area is part of a countywide system of natural areas, protected to maintain the diversity of the biological communities and species in the county. The natural areas are open to the public for educational use and passive recreational activities such as hiking, nature photography, geocaching, and bird watching.

You are looking for a cammo'd ammo box that was given to me by Fluffy and Itchy.
If you choose to hike this trail, please park at the parking waypoint listed. DO NOT BLOCK THE GATE! Bring plenty of water. Also remember, the Florida Trail is for foot traffic ONLY!!


If you are really adventurous, you can park at Riverbend Park and find all the caches in there. Then head out the back canal gate south along the canal road and find all the OTL caches for a grand total of 30+ caches!
