Cache is a container with a log hidden on Middle Bass Island. Big enough for small items. Please bring your own pencil.
This cache is hidden in the cemetery on Middle Bass Island. The difficulty of this cache will be getting to the cemetery.
When seeking this cache, you will need to take the ferry from the mainland or the water taxi from Put-in-Bay. At this time, there are no public docks available.
While at the cemetery, you may want to take a moment to stroll through this quaint cemetery to pay your respects to George Lonz, the wine maker extraordinaire, past owner of Lonz Winery and to his parents Peter and Maggie Lonz.
Bikes and golf carts are available for rental at "Walleyes" Restaurant just up the hill during the summer months.
8/12/09: Update: The Ohio State Parks have opened the new public marina behind Lonz Winery. Very nice facility. At this time no electric or water available but it is promised for next summer. Also new coordinates sent to Keystone for update
