Geocache Description:

We started the day by driving to Panama City, Fl. to start our day of caching with a bunch of fellow TAG friends and then we all went our on way caching our way home. Pam and I hit a few driving through Mexico Beach, Fl. before heading back home. We took the scenic route through rural country and as most of you know everything you look at has cache written on it and begs for you to stop and place one. Well today was one of those days and as we drove along this rural Sate Road we came across the perfect site.
These magnificent beasts roamed the plains of the mid west. It was a main source of supply for the Plains Indians. They used every part of the animal, nothing was waisted and then came the white man and all but made this great creature extinct.
We call them Buffalo but the Indians called it "TATONKA". These are such magnificent creatures and we should be grateful we can still see them today.
I am so sorry I didn't have my camera with me to be able to put a picture on this listing but maybe someone will take one and post it in their log after finding this cache.
Parking is iffy so please be carefull, and Dean, "This not recommended as a night cache".
