Cache hidden as part of the 4th Annual Vancouver Island Hide-&-Go Cache. Cache was hidden on the way back from two nights at a Beaver camp at Camp Barnard outside of Sooke.
As part of the the 4th Annual Vancouver Island Hide-&-Go Cache WingSaber and GeoHackers have teamed up to hide FOUR caches.
WingSaber is learning about division as equal grouping and equal sharing. As a result he has worked out a little quiz for all of the cachers out there. In keeping with the theme of the 4th Annual Vancouver Island Hide-&-Go Cache all of these "division problems" involve the number "4."
To solve the puzzle for the cache solve each of the following and place the number which corresponds the letter in the following:
N 4A.BC.DEF W 123 GH.I97
A) 32 apples shared between 4 people
B) 2 people share 4 transformers and they each get this many
C) 16 badges shared among 8 people gives each person this many
D) The number of people who can wear 16 shoes
E) Half of four
F) If you take four and divide it into groups with four in each this is the number of groups you have
G) If you take an octopus and divide it in half this is the number of legs that you would get to eat
H) The number of gloves 4 people would wear
I) If you had no groups of 4 this is how many you would have
All of these questions are "kid friendly" so ask the young cachers for the answer.
Original contents included badges for scouting as well as a twoonie to purchase a new badge at Scout House. Cache is the size of a vitamin bottle. Please keep in the theme.
