Geocache Description:

Located in Lion's Park, off of Highway 75

Stop by this park and read the historical marker near the cache for a little bit of tragic history. I read on the town's history website that the three men stayed to protect the new hotel in town.

Breckenridge is located at the headwaters of the Red River of the North. Yes, it flows north to Winnipeg.

This cache was hidden to fulfill the County Seat Challenge for Wilkin Co. Thanks to Former Hawkeye for agreeing to keep an eye on it for me.
