Riverside Rookie Traditional Cache
ReZappers: We've moved away from the area, and it's time to free it up for someone else to place a cache. It was our first geocache that we had hidden, and it was fun. Thanks to all of you who visited.

This is the first cache the ReZapper team has placed, thus the name!
The cache is hidden in a wooded area in Meisel Avenue Park in Springfield, NJ. There is a parking lot available at the rear of the running track in the park at N40 42.194 W74 18.809.
Cross the small bridge next to the parking lot to get across the Rahway River. To avoid swampy-looking areas and get closer to the cache area, you can take the trail to the street, then back into the woods (more thorn bushes), or parallel the river on a faint trail first before bushwacking (less thorns). As with all wooded areas in this region, watch out for thorns, poison ivy (beware of fuzzy vines on trees) and ticks.
If you park your car behind the park in the residential area, you can easily walk in and use the trails and faint deer paths to avoid all rivers and all thorns.
The cache is a small lock-n-lock container. Enjoy!
p.s. If you plan to visit the Meisel Mania cache, also in this park, note that there is no direct way over the river by bridge in the direction of the cache. You can walk ENE and cross at the bridge near the parking lot, or park on Meisel Avenue for that cache.
