Geocache Description:

Closed to the rock called Fairy rock. The view is very nice on the top, and can be easily reached by foot.

The 383 meter high Fairy hill can be found in the XII. district of Budapest. Can be easily reached by the bus nr 22, nr 28, or nr 158 starting from Moszkva tér. The ornament of that hill is the Fairy rock, standing high above the drum. Throughout the history it had names like Hermit Rock, Saint Antal rock, or in German Himmel.

The view is nice from the top. The view (starting from right to the left) are Joseph-hill, Ferenc-Hill, Seeng-hill, Goat-hill, in the background are Mathias-hill, Hermit-hill, Three-bordered-hill. Int he foreground is Pasarét, and Zugliget.

There are many rocks formed by thermal springs. You can see many Sesleria Sadleriana, which is an ancient plant originated from the Ice age.

It is a popular trekking place for people of Budapest.

The cache is a small (14x9x5 cm) plastic box, hidden in a chop of a rock.
