Bald Point Ranger: This cache was originally placed before the state saw fit to destroy the environment. It was a hiking cache and a bit of a challenge. Now it appears someone has stolen the ammo box. Caching goes on but unfortunately not as we all would like. There will be no replacement.

Park at N29 54.891 W084 20.257
Located near the Chaire's Creek bridge in beautiful Bald Point State Park. A four mile round trip if you hike. Cache is approved by park personnel
This is an ammo box with the usual sway. There is a gold dubloon for the first to find.
You may hike, bike or kayak to this location. If you kayak, you may put in at the very end of the park next to the fishing pier.
Remember we are guests at this park and need to respect the environment and all the rules set down here.
Please do not get off the trail with the blue blaze. It may be tempting but can be very dangerous. Please bring water, cell phone and insect repellent for maximum enjoyment.
Always watch where you place your hands or feet when looking for cache qaqs there are snakes and other vermin all over the place.
