Geocache Description:

Just off the main trail system hidden in a toy my Pop would have played with.

My Pop was a jack of all trades and a fix it up man. In his life time he worked as a mechanic, and mill worker, among other jobs. He proudly served in WWII and was an active member and past president in the Royal Canadian Legion. One of my memories as a child was apple picking with my Pop, he'd have me and my brother in the bucket of the backhoe and would lift us up to the tree to get apples. When I stumbled acrossed this hiding spot I thought it was the perfect place to hide a cache in my Pop's memory. He would have enjoyed the GPS 'toy' as that's what he'd call it and he would have liked the 'toy' I hid the cache in.

As this is a cache placed in my Pop's memory I've kept it themed for things he'd find useful. He was a fix it up man so there is a measuring tape, eye glass repair kit, some tools, nuts, bolt, nails and screws, etc. I hope you enjoy the cache and please try to keep it themed for things a 'fix it up' kind of guy would enjoy.

There is no need to go off the existing trail system.
